Sig p365 slide release hard to push.
It is now stuck at 7/5 o'clock. The slide sits about 1/8" from the back end of the frame, but racks ok and can be locked back with the release/catch. Also, can't get the slide off of the frame, now. Can't insert a mag, can't pull trigger fully. Oddly, if the lever in the 7 o'clock position and I pull the trigger, the lever rotates to 5 o'clock.

With empty magguts magazines, no such problem at all.The standard P365 release works fine for me, but some folks may want one a little bigger. I’d just be careful about any real modifications or aftermarket parts for warranty, EDC function, and liability reasons. I have a Sig flat trigger on my P365, but consider that a Sig designed option, not a modification.

The slide lock is small but textured with a ‘step’ that allows your thumb to reach it with ease. The gun’s magazine release is triangular and is a low profile design.
Hit the magazine release button on the side. Let the magazine release out and set it off to the side. On the opposite side, you should be able to locate the slide release fairly easily. Push up on the release and pull the slide back completely. Rotate the disassembly lever right next to the slide release button 90 degrees.
Upon reassembly, if you pull the trigger on the lower half, you will see the safety lever come up. Push it flat down if you have to, per the Owner's Manual. Otherwise, the slide won't go past that point. But any pressure from the slide resting on the catch causes absolute binding. Pushing the release causes it to move, but not enough to drop the slide, from there, it’s stuck. Called SIG.

The first time it happened I was able to pull back on the slide a little. After releasing the slide it went forward and the gun fired. About 10 shots later it failed to fire again. Now the slide will only move about an eighth of an inch backward and forward. The only trick is to get the leg of the small spring back on the small ledge on the back of the slide lock lever.
