I know its supposedly a great LAC, but how does it stack up against the Top 25 National Universities? Do you think the academics are comparable or is it slightly below those schools in terms of academic reputation? I'm asking because I applied there after taking entomom's (one of the members here) advice a couple of months back but I haven't had time to do enough research on Bucknell.

Regardless of what rankings or admissions stats say, the academic profile of Lehigh students is a tier above Bucknell's (middle 50 test-score ranges of 1340-1460 / 30-34 vs 1230-1390 / 26-32, eg).

@pardullet My son is a freshman at Bucknell and was selected to be a Dean’s Scholar. He scored a straight 32 on the ACT and had a 3.8 unweighted GPA (his HS did not weight grades on their transcripts).
